Who intensive courses suit
- Learners who need to drive for a new job or a change in circumstances
- Anyone who has been given a test date and wants to be fully prepared for it
- Confident learners who would rather not drag training out over many months
- People who have driven before, or abroad, and mainly need to polish up for the UK test
How intensive courses work
Instead of a single weekly lesson, you drive for longer, more frequent sessions, often two or three hours at a time, several days a week. That momentum means skills stick rather than fading between lessons, and many learners find they progress far quicker as a result. We assess your current level first, then build a plan and a realistic number of hours to get you test ready.
Getting your test booked
Because slots are scarce, timing is everything. We will help you line up your practical test date and build the course around it, and we keep an eye out for earlier cancellation slots. You will need a provisional licence and a passed theory test before your practical, so get those under way early, we will point you to the official DVSA materials for the theory.
Mock tests included
Every course includes full mock tests on your local Goodmayes or Wanstead routes, so test day feels familiar rather than daunting. We rehearse the manoeuvres and the show me, tell me questions until they are second nature, and you can usually sit the test in your instructor’s car with a warm up lesson beforehand.
Course lengths
There is no one size fits all. Complete beginners usually need a longer course, while those with some experience need fewer hours. After a short chat or an assessment lesson we will recommend a course length honestly, rather than overselling hours you do not need. Manual or automatic, the price per hour is the same.
