Training to become an instructor
If you are just starting out, we can point you in the right direction on training and what to expect at each stage, and there may be opportunities to work with us as a trainee (PDI) as you qualify. If you are already a qualified ADI looking for a friendly, well run local school with a steady stream of pupils, even better.
How to qualify
To become an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) you must pass a three part DVSA qualification: Part 1 is a theory and hazard perception test, Part 2 assesses your own driving to an advanced standard, and Part 3 tests your ability to teach. You will also need to pass an enhanced DBS check. It takes commitment, but for the right person it is a career that pays it back.
